A typical inverter comprises of a full bridge that is constructed with four switches, which can be modulated using pulse width modulation (PWM), and a filter for the high-frequency switching of the bridge, as shown in Figure 1. There are different control methodologies that can be used to implement a single-phase inverter. One such control strategy includes a PWM-based square wave for the single-phase inverter. A GreenPAK IC is used to generate periodic switching patterns in order to conveniently convert DC into AC.
In the inverter part, four metal oxide semiconductor tubes (MOS transistors) are used to form a single-phase bridge inverter circuit. The output SPWM waveform is filtered by the LC filter composed of inductors and capacitors to obtain a 10V pure sine wave.
